Welcome to the Cambridge University Croquet Club!

Croquet practices are taking place throughout the term, as well as the inter-collegiate knockout tournament (Cuppers). The club also plays a number of external fixtures, culminating in the annual Varsity Match against Oxford.

Announcements of practices and general updates will be made on this page, by email, and via the Facebook page. To sign up to the mailing list, enter your full email address in the box below.

If you would like to get involved, or would like to sponsor the Club, or if you have any questions, please contact our President, James Brind (jb743).

Croquet is a gentle sport that combines strategy and physical skill. CUACC exists to promote it at all levels in the University - whether you're after a quiet afternoon in the company of friends and a jug of Pimm's or the challenge of competition play.

Easy to pick up, croquet is nevertheless a difficult sport to master. Our favoured competitive game is Association Croquet played under Advanced Rules. This is the format for the annual Varsity Match played at the Hurlingham Club.

CUACC accommodates all abilities from novice to expert. We're happy to provide a basic introduction to the game irrespective of strength, sex or age: Come along and give it a go!
